Harmony Springs existed as a shape before it became a town. The cabin had to stand above it, the wash had to divide the lower ground and Evelyn had to live just far enough away that every visit felt like a journey.nnThe map grew from emotional distance as much as geography. A cartographer records cliffs and roads. A storyteller also maps pressure.
